and EcoLog Events held the Halifax Brownfields Marketplace Summit on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Casino Nova Scotia.
Those who attended where able to glean information and updates on brownfield redevelopment, the 5 Wing Goose
Bay Project, green remediation, soil bioaccessibility, and ARBCA Version 3.

Ottawa welcomed the Brownfields Breakfast Summit for its second annual appearance
on Thursday May 27, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Ottawa Hotel. Those in attendance
heard more discussion about Ontario's Reg. 511/09 from industry "insiders";
Elliot Sigal from Intrinsik; John Willms, Partner, Willms & Shier Environmental Lawyers LLP;
and Michael Billowits from Quantum Murray. Capping off the morning, Susan Moccia from FCM's Green
Municipal Fund, provided an overview of municipal funding for brownfield redevelopment projects.

The Brownfields Breakfast Summit, organized by HazMat Management magazine took place at the Bond Place Hotel in Toronto on April 21, 2010. Organizers
invited various brownfields experts to discuss the impact of regulatory amendments on the cleanup industry in Ontario as well as lenders and property owners.
Attendees used the morning to network and gain further insight into the updated legislation as well as discuss important issues affecting the industry.
